Getting to the fair:
The Macedon Ranges is within close proximity to Melbourne and Bendigo, perfect for a day trip or relaxing getaway. Jump in your car in Melbourne CBD and you’ll arrive at the start of the Macedon Ranges in only 45 minutes.
You can also travel here by comfortable V-Line regional train from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station or Bendigo.
Macedon Train Station is a 4-minute drive or 30-minute stroll from Bolobek.

A: Advance bookings are recommended, as this is one of Victoria’s most popular spring garden events. Click here to buy tickets.
Q: When will tickets become available?
A: Tickets will be available for pre-purchase from 1st August.
Q: Where do proceeds from the Fair go?
A: The Fair is run with the assistance of a number of Community Groups from within the Macedon Ranges. Proceeds from the Fair are donated back to these organisations for horticultural, botanical and environmental projects in the Macedon Ranges. Over the last three years these donations have amounted to more than $120,000.
Q: Is there a prize daw for tickets purchased online?

Q: What is your ticket refund policy?
A: As per the terms and conditions of the Bolobek Garden Fair, we do not offer refunds on tickets that have been pre-purchased, but they are transferable by request.

A: Dogs are not allowed with the exception of registered guide/assistance dogs.

A: Yes Male, Female & Accessible toilets are available.

A. While we are committed to providing access for everyone due to the nature and the layout of the garden some areas will be inaccessible to wheelchairs and may not be suitable for all visitors. Some paths are uneven, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

A: Most exhibitors accept EFTPOS, although bringing a small amount of cash is recommended for smaller purchases or in the unlikely event mobile reception affects card payments.
Q: Can I buy plants?
A: Yes. The Fair is renowned for its specialist growers, offering rare plants, bulbs, shrubs, trees and unusual garden treasures that are often difficult to source elsewhere. A Plant Creche is available so you can drop your purchases and continue to wander the fair & gardens.
Q: Is the Fair suitable if I’m not a gardener?
A: Definitely. The beautiful gardens, country atmosphere, artisan stalls, local food and welcoming community make this a memorable day out for anyone who appreciates nature, photography, heritage or simply discovering beautiful places.

A: Depending on the season, visitors can enjoy flowering bulbs, blossom, roses beginning to bloom, colourful perennial borders, magnificent mature trees bursting into fresh foliage and cool-climate plantings in Victoria.

Catching the train – There are regular VLine services to Macedon Station which is approximately 4 kilometers from the Bolobek Garden Fair. It may be necessary to utilize the taxi service to get from the station to the fair.
