Bolobek Garden Fair in the Media

Five local community organisations and one national charity will share in more than $28,000 as a result of the success of the most recent Garden Lovers Fair held at Bolobek in Macedon.

For veteran and aspiring gardeners, the festival of foliage is a grower's paradise.

Midland Express

The Fair is a big fundraiser for local charities with the SES, Mt Macedon and Macedon Community House, the local CWA, the Scouts, and the local Horticultural Society all benefitting from funds raised at the event.

Bolobek Garden Notes

October 2025

Bolobek is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register as being of ‘aesthetic, architectural, historic and horticultural importance’ to the State of Victoria. Bolobek has pastoral origins as well as being a ‘retreat’ in the early part of the 20th century, as were many of the grand and great houses and gardens in and around the area.
